1. About Contenda

Contenda is an AI-powered letter generation service for UK consumers. By using our service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Contenda.

2. Not legal advice

Contenda generates letters as a starting point for disputes. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Letters generated by Contenda should not be treated as legal advice. For complex legal matters, please consult a qualified solicitor. We make no guarantee that any letter will achieve a particular outcome.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Contenda.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Contenda to:

  • Generate fraudulent, misleading, or harassing letters
  • Make false claims against third parties
  • Violate any applicable UK law or regulation
  • Resell or redistribute our service without permission

5. Payments and subscriptions

Your first letter is free. Additional letters require a paid subscription (£4.99/month) or a pay-per-letter payment (£1.99). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your dashboard. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by UK consumer law. All prices include VAT where applicable.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the information you provide and the letters generated for you. By using Contenda, you grant us a limited licence to process your information solely to provide the service. We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties except as set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Contenda available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Contenda's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Contenda after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify registered users of material changes by email.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
